Rainbow Clash: A Day at Fiddle Head Park.
In a place where colour, movement, and teamwork collide, something bright and exciting is happening at Active Lives Canada Get Up and Move Camp. At Fiddle Head Park in Shelburne, campers will step into a world of vibrant energy, where every colour represents a team, a spirit, and a chance to shine.
On Rainbow Clash Day, participants join one of four colourful teams and take part in fun, inclusive challenges that celebrate cooperation, creativity, and friendly competition. From movement games and team relays to water challenges and craft stations, every activity encourages participation, cheering, and celebrating one another. This is Rainbow Clash at Fiddle Head Park, where every camper adds their own spark.
Rainbow Clash Day Schedule Location: Fiddle Head Park, Shelburne
9:45 a.m. – Arrival & Colour Call-Up Campers arrive and are assigned to a team: Red, Blue, Green, or Yellow. Teams meet at their headquarters to get ready for the day’s activities.
10:00 a.m. – Create Your Team Identity Groups design banners, posters, and team symbols. Each team creates a chant or cheer to show pride and encourage teammates throughout the day.
11:15 a.m. – Rainbow Challenge Circuit Teams rotate through inclusive, colour-themed stations such as: Relay races and obstacle courses, Target toss and coordination games, Team problem-solving activities, Colour-themed movement challenges. Points are awarded for effort, teamwork, and cheering for others.
12:15 p.m. – Lunch in the Rainbow Grove. Teams eat together in a shaded area. Spirit points are given for kindness, cooperation, and positive teamwork during set-up and clean-up.
1:00 p.m. – Water Splash Challenges Campers cool off with fun water-based activities, such as: Sponge toss relays, Water bucket challenges, Splash and toss team games. Activities are supervised, adapted to abilities, and focused on fun and participation rather than speed.
2:00 p.m. – Rainbow Movement Games Large-group games that combine teamwork, agility, and cheering, including: Colour tag games, Parachute “rainbow storm” challenges, Team relay courses with colourful obstacles. Everyone participates at their own pace while supporting teammates.
2:45 p.m. – Team Rainbow Finale Teams complete a cooperative final challenge that combines movement, problem-solving, and creativity. Cheering for teammates is part of the event.
3:30 p.m. – Showcase & Reflection Teams share their banners, chants, and favourite moments from the day. Campers reflect on teamwork, creativity, and how every colour adds something special.
3:50 p.m. – Rainbow Clash Closing Ceremony: All campers are recognized for effort, participation, teamwork, and spirit. The day concludes with a group celebration of everyone’s colourful contributions.
4:00 p.m. – Load the Bus & Head Home Campers leave feeling proud, energized, and inspired after a full day of colour, movement, and connection at Fiddle Head Park.
