Services
Active Lives Canada exists to ensure that neurodiverse individuals and their families have access to meaningful, supportive, and enriching opportunities throughout every stage of life. We believe that everyone deserves connection, purpose, dignity, and a place where they truly belong. Our services are designed not only to provide care, but to build confidence, independence, community involvement, and peace of mind for families who want more than limited options for the future.
Our Adult Day Programs offer structured, engaging days for youth and adults, focused on life skills, social development, independence, and community participation. Through a tiered approach that meets individuals where they are, participants take part in volunteering, continuing education, recreation, and personal growth within welcoming campuses designed for learning, creativity, and belonging.
Our Respite Program provides families with trusted relief and individuals with a warm, supportive home away from home. Located in our beautiful Victorian residence in the heart of Orangeville, respite offers short-term and overnight stays in an environment centred on comfort, safety, connection, and compassionate care.
In 2026, Active Lives Canada is proud to introduce Get Up and Move Camp, a new summer experience built on years of inclusive programming and collaboration. Camp is designed to be joyful, structured, and individualized, giving youth and adults meaningful summer days filled with movement, friendship, and opportunities to thrive in a safe and supportive setting.
We also provide Family-Managed Home Care SUport Services, offering personal support in the comfort of an individual’s own home. Whether through day programming, respite, camp, or in-home care, Active Lives Canada is committed to creating brighter futures through dignity, opportunity, and a community where everyone belongs.

At our Respite House, families are supported by an experienced team of PSWs and Child and Youth Workers (CYWs) who provide around-the-clock care in a safe, home-like environment. With deep expertise in individualized support, safety planning, and compassionate caregiving, our respite staff ensure every participant feels respected, comfortable, and truly cared for during their stay.
