​Step back in time with Active Lives Canada Get Up and Move Camp on an exciting day at Black Creek Pioneer Village!

Campers will explore a living history museum, discovering what life was like in 19th-century Ontario through hands-on experiences, interactive demonstrations, and historic buildings.

Participants will explore the village in small, supported groups, visiting historic homes, shops, and workshops. They can try traditional crafts, watch blacksmithing and farming demonstrations, and learn about pioneer life in a fun, engaging, and safe environment. Staff will provide guidance, support, and encouragement to ensure everyone can participate at their own pace.

This outing blends movement, sensory exploration, and learning in a structured and predictable way. Campers will connect with history, engage in interactive experiences, and enjoy a memorable day filled with discovery, teamwork, and curiosity.
