Bio:
Carrie Levitt is a commercial real estate lawyer whose practice focuses on acquisitions and dispositions, financing, and leasing. She advises domestic and international clients, including real estate companies, developers, pension funds, investors, landlords, and tenants, and is experienced in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, condominium documents, and complex agreements connected to merger and acquisition transactions in Canada and abroad. This depth of experience makes her especially valuable to Active Lives Canada as the organization grows, develops new spaces, and plans long-term projects that require strong legal and property guidance.
Carrie was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2020 after earning her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019, and she holds a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University. She has been recognized as one of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada 2026 for Real Estate Law, reflecting her skill, professionalism, and leadership in her field.
