Julie Lipson is a passionate communications professional who brings a global perspective and a multifaceted background in tourism, hospitality, and social impact to her role on the Board of Directors at Active Lives Canada. As a member of the global social media team at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Julie blends planning, enablement, governance, and strategy across channels and platforms. She holds an MBA from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, where she specialized in Marketing and Sales and obtained a certificate in Social Impact. Her professional journey has spanned marketing roles in luxury hospitality, retirement living and multi-residential real estate, as well as brand development work for small to mid-sized not-for-profit organizations.

 

With a Bachelor's of Science in Natural Resource Tourism and a minor in Media Studies from Colorado State University, Julie has developed a strong appreciation for inclusive storytelling, strategic collaboration, and human connection, values she brings to her contributions at Active Lives Canada. Her role as Board Secretary is supported by her sharp attention to detail, natural organizational strengths, and ongoing dedication to meaningful community engagement. Julie’s background in campaign design, digital marketing, and stakeholder communications ensures that her leadership supports Active Lives Canada’s mission to provide high-quality, life-enriching programming for neurodiverse individuals across Ontario.
